Ακούς! It is as magical as you make it. Stay curious and don't be surprised if you want to extend your trip a week or two longer. Learning to say "hello" (γεια σας) and "thank you" (ευχαριστώ) will get you plenty far, as will a few glasses of ρακί (raki) after a delicious meal. Genuinely being open to learning the culture and the language was one of my absolute favorite parts of the trip. The connections you make are delightful and will last well after you return home!
