Day 0: Welcome to Athens!

Ah, the start of an adventure! 

Settle into your 4-star hotel, conveniently located so you can just about roll out of bed and explore the bustling streets of Athens. 

Get ready for a mix of ancient history and modern-day charm. You’ve got free time to start your first exploration. 

But hey, we won’t blame you if the comfy hotel bed calls your name for a quick nap!

Day 1: Acropolis, Ice Cream & Opa!

Rise and shine!

Get to know your neighborhood before we head to the famous Athenian Acropolis. Our expert guide will reveal the secrets of this ancient wonder. After all that history, it’s time for a hearty Greek feast! 

And for dessert? A walk to a nearby ice-cream shop where you’ll be living your best life with scoops that could make anyone jealous.

Day 2: Plaka, Agora & Museum Marvels

Our second day kicks off with a fascinating tour of the Athenian Agora. Afterward, you’ve got free time to grab lunch and dive into Plaka’s charming maze of streets. Then, it’s time for the Acropolis Museum where every artifact tells a story that’s at least 2,000 years old.

Dinner? On your own, but we know you’ll find something amazing (hint: it’s Athens—food is never a problem).

Day 3: Byzantine Bliss & Rooftop Views

Today we dive deep into the Byzantine and Christian Museum. It’s a time-travel experience with exhibits spanning from the 3rd century to the Middle Ages. Afterward, you’re free to roam.

But before the day ends, we’ll gather on the hotel rooftop for some serious dinner views of the Acropolis. That’s the sort of “I’m on vacation” moment we all live for.

Day 4: Hello Chania!

Time to fly off to the magical island of Crete!
After settling into your sea-view hotel, you’ll have free time to get acquainted with the picturesque neighborhood. Later, we’ll dive into Chania’s rich past with a visit to the Archaeological Museum.

Dinner? Oh, just a little seaside feast to kick off our Cretan adventure.

Day 5: Old Town Wonders & Wine

Put on your walking shoes because we’re about to explore Chania’s Old Town like a local! From Byzantine museums to the Maritime Museum of Crete, there’s history to be soaked in.

After a light lunch, we’ll visit our first winery. If you’ve been waiting for wine, now’s your moment!

Day 6: Rethymno, History, and Lunch Like a Local

Put on your walking shoes because we’re about to explore Chania’s Old Town like a local! From Byzantine museums to the Maritime Museum of Crete, there’s history to be soaked in.

After a light lunch, we’ll visit our first winery. If you’ve been waiting for wine, now’s your moment!

Day 7: Heraklion History & Wine, Oh My!

Free morning, but let’s be honest—you’ll want to make the most of it!

After lunch, we’re off to the Historical Museum of Crete, where you’ll marvel at El Greco’s paintings (yes, we promise, you will look cultured).

Later, it’s time for wine tasting at one of Peza’s most famous wineries. If you weren’t already convinced Crete is paradise, the wine will seal the deal.

Day 8: Minoans, Knossos & Cretan Feasts

Today we unravel the mystery of the Minoans with a guided visit to the Heraklion Archaeological Museum and the mighty Knossos Palace. After all that history, it’s time for a mouthwatering treat at a private Cretan house in Patsides. It’s time to feast like a local!

Day 9: Elounda, Spinalonga & Kritsa – Oh, My!

We’re heading east today to the stunning Bay of Elounda. But that’s not all—let’s take a boat trip to the historical island of Spinalonga. After, it’s off to Kritsa for a leisurely lunch and free time to explore.

Dinner? Your choice, but you know it’ll be fantastic.

Day 10: Peza Wines & Olive Oil Adventures

Morning free time to explore or grab a late breakfast, and then it’s off to the picturesque Peza wine region for a wine tasting at a women-owned winery—yes, this is your chance to support female entrepreneurs while sipping some of Crete’s finest!

Later, we’ll indulge in an olive oil tasting session to learn all the secrets of this liquid gold. Plus, there’s food and wine to go with it, so… win-win.

Day 11: Palace of Phaistos & Beachside Lunch

We’re headed south today to the grand Palace of Phaistos, where we’ll explore
this ancient site before heading to the beach for a relaxing lunch. It’s the sort of
afternoon you’d want to repeat forever.

Dinner tonight? We’re going all-out at the finest Heraklion restaurant, known for
its modern twist on Cretan gastronomy and farm-fresh goodness.

Day 12: Farewell, Crete!

It’s time to say goodbye to this magical island. You’ll fly back home with your heart full of memories, your stomach full of delicious food, and maybe a bottle (or two) of wine in your bag. Until next time, Crete! We’ll be dreaming of you.
