Explore the historical city of Heraklion through a story-telling 2-hour walk accompanied by a professional guide who will immerse you in what’s old and new in the capital of the Heraklion Prefecture. 

You will take a sweet break in the central Lion’s square where you will taste the traditional Greek custard pie called bougatsa. Lose and find yourself in the city of Heraklion!

Following our walk, we will be taken to a local ceramic artist who can explain all there is about one of the oldest local crafts and you will get your hands dirty in a two-hour workshop where you will produce your own artifacts with an option to take them back home with you if you like. 

Create your own artifact over a cup of tea or coffee with biscuits.

Our final stop will be at a local delicatessen restaurant for a chance to taste awarded Greek olive oils that become the base of Cretan Diet and one of the secrets of longevity. The Homeric Liquid Gold- Olive Oil. 

Together we will learn what olive oil is all about and its importance in the Cretan Culinary Culture. A full course with wine will be offered after the tasting.
